I'll keep it brief Mystress. I experienced spontanious Kundalini awakening 7 years ago. i am currently about to turn 43. i would loved to speak with you (via email if possible). my path has left me without money at this stage in the game. i have been asking for a human teacher for some time now. i am also a shaman/healer/yogi/tantric. i am called to meditate and stay in high vibration. having trouble working if you get my drift (my body doesn't handle the "realworld" well). your grounding exercise is helpful but not the answer. i understand you are a busy woman ... it would truly be helpful to have an ear of wisdom.

  You lost me in claiming to be a Shaman.  I'll give you some advice anyway.

  Get a job. Kick the Kundalini psychosis hero trip, stop thinking the world owes you a living and do something that makes a genuine contribution to society.  Sitting on your butt meditating all day does not count.

  Your problems with the "Real world" are all about the hero trip, you projecting energy and getting back karma from people who never invited you to be their guru savior.  So stop that. The world has not asked you to save it.

  The Buddha walks through the battlefield, unscathed... no arrows strike him.  "I have to live at a higher vibration" is no excuse. 

  I believe in Maslows hierarchy, pyramid of needs.  It states that you need to sort out your real world stuff, manage some abundance, get food and shelter handled then start looking at higher values.

  If all you want to do is sit around meditating all day, then go join an ashram or monastery.  Ya know what? They will put you to work too!

Dear Mystress,

First, please let me thank you for taking the time and care to respond to my email, and for creating this website which has helped myself, and so many others with our experience. I appreciate your council. It's given me something to consider. I have to let you know however Mystress, that I found it somewhat harsh (which is just what I get for coming to a Dominatrix for help).

My joblessness has not been by conscious choice, but instead from schizophrenic episodes brought about through the opening of kundalini. Hence, one of the practices I have found helpful to put into place has been meditation. I am learning a great deal through this process. Receiving help from others has been a humbling experience. Until the opening eight years ago, I supported myself quite well, since then I have found it very hard to be in public places. My body constantly runs energy, and I am extremely sensitive to what is going on inside of others. While many things have changed in my energetic body and my experience, I have not yet found a way to overcome my sensativity.

Also, it has never been my willfull intention to take on the karma of others to heal them. I feel no need or obligation to heal anyone. While much of the work I have been doing stems from massage and lightwork, sometimes work comes about on its own. Though I have tried over and over and over again not to have this happen, to no avail. Goddess wants this work done and I have a role to play. The process for me has changed (I now am able to meditate passively), but non the less I am told I put in for this. I am constantly put in the position of surrender. Some of the work involves Shiva and a process I have seen time and time again. Much of the work I have done is with teachers. I have seen many wonderful things happen from this work.

I was hoping to find out more about Shaktipat, since it has been coming about for some time now and gone beyond the oooops stage. I am guided, although I have had no formal training. It's been tough on relationships.

So without going on, I can see that while much of what you teach is exactly what my inner teachings have been (simply understanding this is a great gift), there may also be some different things I have to learn. My path is one of Bhakti and Dharma, and truly when it comes to Tantra I am learning a different Tantric path.

I respect your being fully Mystress, and while I can see our paths differ somewhat, and I have much to learn, I send love and thanks for being who you are. And by the way, if you don't believe I am a Shaman, I say... "takes one to know one;)". Please, pardon the pun.

   Your assumption that the tone of my response is related to my sexual orientation is both erroneous and offensive. Saying nasty things in nice words is not better than my choice to be direct.

While many things have changed in my energetic body and my experience, I have not yet found a way to overcome my sensativity.

Goddess wants this work done and I have a role to play.

  Goddess, being All, needs nothing, desires nothing. You desire the hero trip and She will provide the juice for it, but do not assume that means it is Her will. The fact that you are being beaten up so badly by the karmic feedback from it is evidence that it is *not* Her will, but that of your ego.

  It does, and a genuine Shaman can tell a fake. Go ahead and disrespect the ancient ways for the sake of your ego desire for a title if you wish, but do not ask me to respect that.  Your difficulties are self created, you choose to be defensive instead of receptive then there is nothing for me to do about it~ !
