confronting the shadow and getting over it


I went to earth rising sanctuary, a small commune and was grateful to
find an organic

mostly self sufficient sanctuary out in the basically remote mountains
of washington state.
i was disappointed that there were so many hang ups everywhere, all
the discussions seemed

to be for the most part about mundane details of fluctuations in
temperature levels and

energy usage, over time. Though I think its important to be conscious
of our usage of

energies, over attention to it becomes just as bad, and conservative.
Its an important

truth that when we let go, things tend to work themselves out
overtime, in fact this is how

I've  lived my life for the most part, in the present moment.

The place has a very celtic feel to it, which is cool, i am actually
of irish ancestry, and

was interested in learning more about fairies from around the world,
and also hippies from

around the world, thinking this would be the place, because of
affiliations with the

rainbow family, but it just doesn't seem to have come together
organically yet, there is

too much division, not on race, but on

judging Good
and Bad
and creating this duality
instead of just taking things are they are in the present moment

the celtic feel is actually just a rouse for the classical composition
influence which

takes the place into insanity. A place of hippie healing just doesn't
mesh well with a

foundation of classical compisition.

There is a book on confucism but no book on taoism for example.

It doesn't seem to be compatible with real hippie gatherings.

There is also constant reference to other times, but where is the
conversation that is

immediately relevant in the NOW?

This I have found  from visitors but the keeper of the place, who is
the only one who stays

here all the time aside from myself, seems to be deflecting this
present talk, and savoring

of the present.

I can't help but see him as a kind of Guardian, waiting until this
issue is addressed in a

sufficient way.

I am convinced the way the place is set up causes bad energy to come
through, for example,

the last visitor Chet, who is a letter of the hebrew alphabet came
here and used lots of

energy, painted over property, with a really bad paint job (and I
would have rooted for him

if it was a flower or some mandala from deep in the psychedelic
experience but he painted

just white in a trailer he was borrowing for seemingly no reason, why
the disrespect?)

There needs to be more focus on taoism.
There is so much organically grown garlic, i feel this is about the
'vampires have no

shadows' thing
the garlic is good.

but it doesnt seem to be helping.

i don't want this place to be a masonic lodge, feather doesn't either,
but he doesnt see

thats what he is causing similarities to, moreso than a hippie
commune (but its in between now and could go either way in fact there is a window that looks a lot like the slanted squared on the message boards of this site, which makes me intuit a connection if not conscious, then spiritual, the squares themselves are fine but 'mason' is not something i am pursuing or think its wise to pursue, i think tht knowledge is available in ways that won't 'steal your soul' as it were, it is after all, all coming from nature). I pray the fairies

or hippie spirits, or even zen teachings can deliver or manifest some
kind of healing

revelation.

The sweat lodge was good but it was very loose, no real shaman to
center the ceremony, and

thus much potential was lost.

there seem to be differences in the groups, but if we could all come
together that would be

awesome, not even just the groups but random people.

the ad encouraged lightworkers, but i am not one to go only into the
light, though my

definition of celestial means wholistic, and so includes everything. I
am not a light

worker, or a part of any super esoteric group, i am just a down to
earth, hippie healer,

trying to find spiritual sanctuary and to give it my best to be the
best it can be.

No one can own the land, theres talk of property, of taxes, of money,
but does it  really

matter, cant we just let it flow, we don't need money, i don't want to
be involved in it.

it feels like a confrontation with the reasoning mind, in all the ways
its been demonized,

confrontation with all the negative aspects that i had experienced
earlier on, now in one

form, so if it can be transmuted now and cleared, healed, then this is
perhaps the end of

the healing for me, a diagnosed schizophrenic recovering, finding a
place where my healing

abilities can be recieved and working towards a new incarnation of
community and society,

not just based on the old texts and traditions, because the supreme
tradition is new

creation, and breaking away from ways that are no longer useful.

we must honor all directions, we are in the north west, but honor all
directions, all

places, all forms of life, in an authentic way, all plantlife, all
nature, in an authentic

way.

we are dangerously close to needing psychological help, the spirit of
carl jung is near, to

help us. but the shamanic attacks to make this something bad are still there.

what its about is stuff like AVALANCHE, and Somalunch, spiritual
groups of peaceful

revolutionaries, bringing real difference in the world, fighting the
vampire corporations

who cut too many trees, and want to exploit the earth, while ignoring
the organic energy.

ironically the demons of this are also within us and we must accept
that. the state doesnt

have the much power, the people have the power, when we put out our
ideas, we all live our

own lives, and create our own dreams, the political idea of how this
should be done, seems

to always fail, it is corrupt from the start, the way which says
appeal to right wing, left

wing, congress, this must be left behind, its much more effective to
go the route of the

heart, make art and put out the old spiritual truths, ground ourselves
in that, and pass it

on, this kind of art, can have a subtle but profound effect on all who
see it and can be

used by those it inspires in political context, but going into
political context ourselves

doesnt work, I'm too crazy, the guardian here seems to like it, though
he says his role is

more helping to create a space for people to gather, and I agree with
that, thats more

important. We all appreciate his efforts, but sometimes they can
impinge on what our

ultimate purpose is, to create free art, and live free lives out here,
in the truth. There

will always be conflict and drama among the political groups, but we
cant be caught up in

it, if its petty, then its just petty, I have faith nothing will come
of it, the government

doesnt control me, thats what America is about, we dont have to submit
to the government as

long as we live lives of honesty and morality, not harming one
another, no law should go

against this and laws which do are unconstitutional, we practice our
rights in line with

the constitution.

We believe ultimately no land can be owned, and we all share
everything, no more submitting

to the beauracratic compromise because only we lose on that side, no
more honor of this

idea of ownership, we are guardians of nature, not owners of the land.
honor to the native

american tribes who dreamed and preserved many of these healing
traditions. THOUGH WE ARE

ALL NATIVE TO THE PRESENT MOMENT

I am here and it seems like a great thing could happen, theres so much
potential, for

people to gather, in my opinion hopefully not exclusively families
though feather wants

that, but young  people, because we are more likely to create
something real and meaningful

and different enough to make a change, families still have to guide
their young and it is a

whole deal, not that thats bad, and theres definitely space for some
of that here, but for

that to be all of it, would lose some off the potential to make a real
difference in terms

of expression, I dont want this to just be another commune which faded
away and nothing

really happened, but maybe this can be the fruition of the ideals
hippies even began with,

it doesn't have to end with comprimise and abondonment of virtue, and
even those who

thought it was over, no, it can be revived, like the amanita muscaria.

there is also a lot of talk about the weather, maybe a vieled
reference to the Weather

Underground, who by the way is not a violent insane group as portrayed
in youtube videos,

in my opinion that was the government who infiltrated and then wanted
them to look bad, its

not about white power or black power either, its just about
consciousness, why can the

corporations not be conscious? and respect nature, respect that
hoarding is not good, when

others suffering from not enough? CONSCIOUSNESS, it seems like
rebellion but no, its

actually heroic, not when it involved robbing innocent people, but
when it involves actual

good, I, a two spirit individual(?) was born 4/23 same day as
Bernadette Devlin so I feel maybe in some ways this is

fate, though I also believe we cant let everything be dictated by
fate, if it gives you a

good one, sure but like in greek mythology, its always valid to fight
against it, and

sometimes even overcome, everything always changes.

My personal alignment is true neutral, but sometimes I think chaotic
good is more honest.

   no more missionaries! even a non christian missionary would
actually be cool, we respect christianity, but its just been enough
for now... we dont respect it when its being forced in our face

but seriously, share your faith, but dont be obnoxious about it

we don't want gurus, we don't want bondage, we want people who have something to share who want to collaborate and make something awesome
