To learn how to lose your mind without losing your way in the world. What is the fastest, yet least expensive way to get things going.

I have had Kundalini episodes before, but never with guidance, nor where I knew what I was doing to open it up. I would like to open things up a bit, but I don't need the confusion it caused in my life last time.

Hi,
The path is always entering unknown and ever changing terrain. Can be occasionally bumpy indeed.
More relevant question would be how to find a guide to train with. Simple answer is use your discretion. Everyone somehow finds the teacher right for them.
Honestly price for progress is quite high. Its too high for our ego self. Or we all would be already there. Price is paid with what is most precious to us, more even then gold, our ego. Some guides/or just businessmen of faith take the gold and let you keep the ego. A very savoury deal and ego will be so eager to jump in but really unfortunately once your kundalini is active such deal will just always fall apart.
So that can add dollar cost so watch it.
