Hi, I have one quick question;
If the kundalini is awakened and in the early stages of rising would using methods to clear the upper chakras like for psychic visions cause unbalance, problems or any discomfort in any way?

Usually people seek psychic power for ego oriented reasons. Bad idea. If you are in a state of surrender these things will be granted to you when you are ready for them without the need to try to gain them for yourself.

In my experiences just focusing on one chakra or a particular set of chakras often did more harm than good. It is my understanding that chakras behave in a very mechanical fashion (at least mine anyways). and in order to achieve optimum results proper calibration is key.
purposefully empowering certain chakras while ignoring or paying less attention to others resulted in the same kind of imbalances that i had felt before i was awakened to their existence, and proved to be counter productive.
if your core desire is greater clarity, i can only suggest that you meditate on a regular basis, balancing and empowering all your chakras and freeing them of all dark spots that fear and negative thought may have brought.
The more time u spend properly empowering all your chakras the greater your level of clarity will be.
Bottom line, there is no cheating when it comes to matters involving your higher self. U cant just focus on one or a group of chakras just for the sake of achieving a particular set of desires u may have. I hope i did not come off too blunt.
