i had an experience several months ago that i still haven't a clue about. i was wondering if maybe anyone here might have an idea?
i woke up in the early morning hours (i really thought i was awake at the time, but it is possible i wasn't) with my eyes still closed. eyes still closed, i saw a pair of green eyes right in front of me/ over me and very close to my face. the shape of the eyes was similar to that of cat eyes/ very almond shaped eyes, but they weren't cat eyes. the eyes weren't part of anything, just two green eyes with no pupils or color variation in a black background. the green was dull, and looked a lot like a khaki green. the eyes didn't shine or sparkle, they were very flat, and they did not blink (there were no eye lids or anything).
i felt like i was naked under their stare (i had to think about whether or not i had pjs on and i had to touch the pjs to know they were there) and that they were looking through more than my pj's.... it felt like the eyes were looking in me. i felt uncomfortable under the gaze, but it was such a penetrating gaze that i dont know what my discomfort was coming from (the feeling of the gaze or what was behind the eyes). it did send my heart racing, but i wasn't terrified or anything (this was a while ago, and i had more fear in general then so yeah). i blinked a few times and then turned on my light and they were gone. i have not seen them again, and i haven't a clue what, who, or why. i have been very curious about this since, but haven't been able to come up with an explanation of any kind.
In the twilight zone between awake and asleep the imagination makes things real. I dont get a sense of any presences, reading this.
