Title: Would like to talk to someone at length who has experience
Post by: Skyblu on April 28, 2013, 04:09:53 AM
Hi There,

I found this website because I have been wanting to get some perspective on an experience I had a bit under a year ago when I was travelling in South East Asia. Not long after it, I wrote a lengthy description of it (10 pages) so I wouldn't forget the details. I originally described it as a 'Shamanic' experience' as it seemed appropriate. After reading through this site somewhat, I would understand it to be related to Kundalini. It is certainly related to Chakra openings of which I know a very small amount about.

Some background. I have generally been open minded my whole life and have been a Buddhist for 10 years now, and a meditator for most of that time. So this experience has not freaked me out or anything, but I would like to dialogue with someone about my experience to get some perspective or context on it that people within my Buddhist community cannot provide.

Is someone here able to help?

Are you unwilling to describe your experience here?

Sorry about my delayed response....Slightly reticent...partly it feels very personal but also that it is a lot to describe and therefore post. It was quite a long episode and so all that transpired would have a certain context so I would not like to shorten the description of events too much...is that OK?
