About a month ago I started having a full blown K (I believe).

So far I am experiencing three types of energy.

-There's an electric type, that will come up and expand on different areas of my body, but generally goes into my brain and cover it. This happens 4-5 times a day maybe and it's ok.
-There's the snake like energy that makes its way up my spine. In the beginning it felt like a small snake about 15cm long that would disappear after reaching my crown. After about two weeks it transformed in a long snake that can be felt along all my spine. This rises approx. twice a day and releases a lot of energy. I guess this is the Kundalini core.
-The third type, which I have no idea about, feels like a ball of energy coming from the base of my spine or my sacral chakra, not sure. This ball might change shape when it passes through a chakra and has some difficulties to reach the crown, it might get stuck in the head for some minutes forcing the skull until it reaches the crown.
When this ball reaches the crown the energies in my body start moving at extremely high speeds and I may feel kind a weird. If I sleep like that I wake up after a couple of hours and my brain feels like it is operating at very high speed, I have very weird dreams as well.

Has anyone else experienced this ball of energy and do you know what it is?

I can't say what the ball of energy really is, but I have experienced it. For me it happened a bit before I joined FST. I was lurking around these K charged pages and had vivid dreams about the lineage and Mystress. It made my energy flow stronger than it had been in years. Few nights in a row I woke up, felt how a ball or bubble of energy was "released" from root chakra. It travelled fast up, and exploded in my head giving me head orgasms. It was cool experience but gave me headache unfortunately I don't rememeber feeling it after those times... Not so clearly anyway.

I used to have a lot of little electric shocks in my head during early years of K awakening.

Somedays energy is more electric, some days it's more sexual pleasure, somedays something else. Kundalini is often very active when we sleep. Ego isn't blocking the kundalini clearing us when we sleep. That's why little prosessing naps might be good way to clear ourselves sometimes too.

Thanks for your reply Mari,

I have never slept during the day in my life, but this last month I am sleeping every afternoon.
I had a head explosion a couple of weeks ago during the night, it wasn't that bad. For me the ball moves really slowly not fast.
