I've just found this site & was encouraged to hear Mystress's guidance on a activated sex drive.

My sex drive was negligible for many years in a bad marriage.  About a year ago, when I started confronting issues in the relationship, some huge blocks must have been cleared.  Ever since, my sex drive has been nearly constantly On-Fire without stimulus.  This is not typical for a 52 yr old woman, so though it is pleasurable, it is confusing, distracting & frustrating.

Has anyone had experience with this? And, can you offer any suggestions?

I had some mystical experiences about 16 yrs ago that prompted me to learn about the Kundalini energy & I think this may be it happening again. I'm trying to just accept this and trust that it is a positive healing force, but I'd like to know if there is something I can do to help regain a sense of balance.

Yes second chakra awakening surely is pleasurable and can be very intense. It's possible to grow into experiencing sexual pleasure in you also without the need to have sex with physical partner. Just enjoy, meditate the sensations, direct the flames of desire that make your pelvis melt in pleasure upwards. Makes work days much more fun too. But yes, frustration you're experiencing is understandable, and it will pass. I have also understood that women in their menopause years might have kundalini awakenings easier than before that time in their lives, but I do not have any personal knowledge about that.

I remember the first time my second chakra started to open and I was like WOOOOOOW what is this? Realised pretty soon that I didn't have any idea about sexual pleasure before that.
