Hello Carlos,
The 3rd eye shaktpat is a nice and important helpful initiation on ones spiritual path. And it is useful only within context of such path, whatever it is. Without this framework it is really of little benefit. In my personal opinion at least.
In case you are a beginner then I would recommend starting from the ground up.
Also I would like to ask why do you wish to have this initiation?
