Hello.  I have the double helix snake like movement in my body.  It's like this...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b7Hidj1OGcE

I got it through a friend who had it but didn't know what it was at the time.  That was 5 years ago and I've been experiencing it intensely as well as a lot of difficult things since then including being in the dark night of the soul for over 4 years.  I thought I was psychotic or possessed for the longest time as I feel like I am reliving everything I've ever stored in my subconscious.  I just came across kundalini recently and put it together that my mental agony could be from the snake like movement in my body.  Is that what's happening, is the snake like movement clearing the energy blocks that I've stored in my body and so mentally I am re experiencing everything?

Any advice for me?  I'm suffering a great deal of pain.  I've even tried to kill myself because of this.  I haven't been functional in over 4 years.  My body feels like it's being completely shut down, hanging onto life by a thread.  The mental torture is the worst.  It's feels like my soul is being tortured endlessly.

This describes my state...

"There are three major types of phenomena that occur when the kundalini won't come back down:

(1) Your personality shuts down. When this occurs, you cannot function normally. Your will doesn't work. Your sense of self is distorted, ranging from feeling you are a witness viewing your body and life from outside (depersonalization) to feeling you are an omnipotent godlike being (grandiosity). You can't think logically. You cannot form normal relational bonds with others. Your attention is locked or fixed in an altered state of consciousness and it is difficult, if not impossible, to return to the ground state of awareness. This state is frightening and overwhelming."

Any advice to help me will be greatly appreciated.  Much thanks in advance.
