Hello everyone,

for many years I've been able to relax my arms, legs, head and groin to the point where I get an odd/pleasurable feeling. This feeling feels like: being tickled from the inside, an orgasm, or the initial drop when riding a roller coaster. The feeling is much stronger in the legs and groin area. The feeling can be so strong that I can only do it for a second or two until I can't do it any longer (in the legs/groin). I basically try and make the body part go limp, and surrender control over it.

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with something like this, and if it has anything to do with Kundalini.

Thank you.  ;D

Yes. Kundalini (or energy/light/vibrations) is always present. It is more about noticing or paying attention. All of the situations you described are probably when you have quieted your mind. The energy follows your attention.

It doesn't require quieting of the mind, or particularly a lot of concentration.

Jeff

Try moving it around your body with your attention.

Do you mind describing your experience with the phenomena a little more in detail?

Mari

Motova, yes I can relate to what you are feeling. I think it can very well be kundalini related. When more relaxed, you are able to feel the pleasurable movements. Energy probably is there all along, even if you don't feel it when busy with your life. Feels so good, isn't it? :)

Surrendering to the sensations is good, and gradually increases your capacity for intense pleasure and bliss. You might want to clear the area in your body with karma clearing techniques, you can find them from this web site, so Shakti can spread wider in your body. Kundalini often feels like this when it has some karma to transmute.

I don't see the point in Jeff's advice to try to move the energy around. What I would do, is to concentrate my focus on the body parts, where the energy feels stuck and clear the karma so Kundalini starts maybe to move more, as She wills... We do not teach here that people should try to control Kundalini Shakti.

Love, Mari

Jeff

Hi Motova,

As Mari said, focusing on various body parts (or moving it around  :) ), can be very helpful to "expand" your ability to sense the energy (kundalini). But, in the beginning, it may be hard to sense where energy may be stuck. Have you worked with the grounding meditation on this site? It is very good.

As to my own experience, happy to share... but since Mari is of the FST lineage, it might better if she responded.

Peace.

I experienced some heat when I coupled this technique/experience with being mindful of my nervous system today while sitting outside in the cold. It was an intuitive idea, but I thought I'd try it and I managed to stop myself from shivering. :D

Any thoughts?
