So having read this entire site, ive decided to try a few techniques.

I've practiced grounding myself around 10 times and every time it gets a little better, though some are more effective than others. I can tell wen  have a good one because, I always do it with my eyes closed, when i open my eyes I can hear see and feel very clear-minded and in the moment.

Having recently had a strange mirror experience where I didn't hardly recognize myself and was amazed by the features, hair, blemishes on my face that I had seemingly never before noticed. (I might have been on mushrooms  ::) )

Today I grounded myself and placed myself in my bathroom (huge mirror) with a candle placed so that it cast 1/2 of my face in near full candle-light and the other half of my face was dim but still visible.

For about 5 minutes I didn't really notice anyting but watery eyes. But heres what I ended up seeing. I was never frightened, but got chills down my spine a few times.

I saw:
- my eyes and mouth filled with a dull gray/white light (wierd...)
- I saw my mothers face in mine (we share a lot of the same features)
- I saw myself with distorted bulbous nose
- I had cat eyes
--* I saw myself with 6 eyes, one stacked above and one stacked below each eye, sort of overlapping. My friends also reported to seeing this in my face when we were all tripping, and I had completely forgotten about it until I saw it manifest in myself.

But I had previously been slightly afraid of mirrors, especially at night (saw a horror movie called mirrors  :o ) But after the experience I felt much more comfortable - i even placed my hand to the mirror and thanked it for showing me something.

I was just wondering if there was any symbolism for anything I saw? Are they just reflections of me? Obviously...

When I meditate by way of concentrating on my eyebrow centre in the mirror, astral light is generated which swamps physical features of my face.
