I am writing to ask a question about a certain phenomena that I have been experiencing since childhood. Sometimes, especially when outdoors in direct sunlight, I see a sort of vortex forming in front of me. It doesn't spin clockwise or counter-clockwise, but the energy "blobs", which start at the edge of my peripheral vision quickly move toward the center of the vortex and disappear.   The vortex is mostly transparent (like heat off hot pavement), and will continue indefinitely if desired. Has anyone else out there experienced this? Can I attribute this phenomena to a visual "trick", or am I seeing some sort of chakra / spiritual / karmic energy?

Not sure, but it sounds like third eye phenomena. Chakras are vortexes, and you are seeing the vortex of the third eye.

Thank you for responding. It really helps to get input from others who have seen these kinds of things. When I ask friends or family about similar experiences they just think I'm crazy.
